Les Blocs de Ca Na
Written by Branly

Written by BranlX

Written by Branly

The water temperature of Halong Bay is more than forgiving, after 5 months of us sitting around and twiddling our thumbs.  It’s time to go back to business with a Deep Water Soloing session. This year, to add to the challenge of getting back in shape,...

Work in Progress
Written by Branly
Currently, the new version of Vietclimb.com, V3, is still in stages of on-line development. Be nice to the author who receives neither royalties nor Happy Endings, but has  red eyes from staring at the screen. Although Vietclimb.com concentrates mainly on rock climbing in Vietnam, you can find, dear readers, information linking you to other crags in the region. Thus,...

Potential
Written by Branly
As the National Security Agency doesn’t want to help us index all the cliffs and boulders in Vietnam, discovering and recording potential and existing crags remains a lot of work. But on the other hand, it’s an exciting time, one of discovery. Our respective schedules, access issues to reach more remote areas constrain our efforts to do the climbing potential here justice. This website is only a modest selection of what is possible in Vietnam. However, here are some good surprises we randomly found, where our lucky, podgy little fingers tasted good rock...
